The site consists of a large stone mass and a small Bronze Age Barrow barrow to the West. The conspicuous stone mass has a hollowed out centre and is about 6' high and 25' in diameter. The barrow to the West is turf covered and about 3' high and about 10' in diameter. It is a confusing site and difficult to understand. so my analysis is unreliable. Archwilio names two Cefn Cerrig cairns within a short distance and perhaps this one should, for convenience, be called Cefn Cerrig 2?
