SandyG visited on 16th Apr 2019 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 3 Limited car parking is available at SS 76074 38505. Taking special care walk uphill along the public highway to SS 76067 38274 and enter the moorland through the gate. Head west across the moor to the row.

Triple Stone Row in Somerset

Update October 2019: The Halcombe Stone Row is featured on the Stone Rows of Great Britain website. Their entry includes a description, a plan of the row from a recent survey carried out in April 2019, photographs of the alignment and the individual stones, access information and a list on online resources for more information.

The row is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 867811 and scheduled as MSO6889 (Halscombe Stone Setting) on the Exmoor National Park HER and as Historic England List Entry No. 1014281 (Halscombe stone setting 790m SSW of Simonsbath Bridge).
