Ring Cairn in Conwy

Cofleins grid ref is slightly off, mine is closer, I hope.
It took me two tries to find this ring cairn because of inaccurate grid references, but find it I did. It is a good ring cairn, with a south west facing entrance. Best preserved on the south west, the other side has suffered slippage from the adjacent hill side and has been half buried.
It's in a good position to watch the sun go down over Foel Lus, so I did.

Llyn-y-Wrach
Llyn-y-Wrach submitted by Bladup : Llyn-y-Wrach. It's got double kerbing on the downslope side like a lot of hut circles, but this place is to big for that, it's like they built a hut for a giant.

Llyn-y-Wrach
Llyn-y-Wrach submitted by Bladup : Llyn-y-Wrach. Should surely be on OS maps, Anybody who spends time looking for things on OS maps that aren't even there anymore can never believe when something like this isn't on any OS maps, but the little hard to see house platform a 100 yards away to the east is. The postman certainly delivered on this one.
