Cefn Glas Barrow Cemetery submitted by postman : The lower cairn with its (from here) menhir looking outcrop (Vote or comment on this photo)
Barrow Cemetery in Conwy (Bwrdeistref Sirol)

Two large cairns lurk amongst the boggy wilderness east of Moel Siabod. They can be approached either from the north from near the Roman fort or from the south near Pont y pant.

On my visit the weather was against me somewhat, visibility was down, but my spirits survived the worst battering the Welsh weather has thrown at them for quite some time. One barrow is still quite high at least two meters and with an exposed cist, the other cairn is on slightly lower ground, and of a lesser excellence but it still too has an exposed cist with its capstone still close by. Had they been somewhere less wild and out of the way they would be better known , but Snowdonia keeps it's secrets well.
