Barclodiad-y-Gawres (Conwy)
Barclodiad-y-Gawres (Conwy) submitted by stu : Near the path by the Bwlch-y-Ddeufaen stones, is this large cairn. The long grass in the right of the photo has the remaining stones of the chamber. (Vote or comment on this photo)
This cairn whose name translates as 'the Giantess's Apronful' and has the same name as one on Anglesey is composed of a heap of boulders with a cist on the northern side.

Re: Barclodiad-y-Gawres (Conwy) by Anonymous on Saturday, 04 November 2023
I think the grid ref of this and bwlch y ddeufaen sh716716 are the same which is probably wrong. I think the Lat lon for this should be 53.226344, -3.924208 or SH 71642 71651.
Thanks, David Hoyle
