Interesting. Is this report available at the National Library of Wales website? It only has 4 months' worth of journals for the Archaeologia Cambrensis 1847. Haven't had the chance to look through them all yet.

Hi Harry, found my 'Amgueddfa Tre'rddol' booklet second hand but I believe it is their first one published in 1968 titled Bedd Taliesin. I have looked for later editions but have found none but have not visited NLW yet. They visited the circles as an extra to the main article. The museum in Aberystwyth has several copies.

Thanks, much appreciated. I'll try and get hold of a copy, I wasn't planning on another trip up the A44 this year but there is so much going on around that area it's hard to stay away!

A note from the Cambrian Archaeological Association 1847 - "...and [they] discovered two so-called druidic circles, one of which consisted of about seventy-six upright stones on the mountain above Nant-y-nod. By 1873 a considerable number of these stones seem to have been removed."
