It turned out to be impossible to capture the sheer magic and scale of the place using a narrow field of view video camera, but stitching multiple frames together hopefully gives some idea of the place. Access to this site should read 2. There is quite a long walk without footpaths whichever direction you approach from. It is well worth the effort to go there.
More information about Shoulsbury Castle can be found on the English Heritage website also about an unnamed neolithic stone setting only 300m away. I wish I'd read that before my visit.
