A cairn upon a raised area of ground, within a large natural bowl, to the south of the Roman road descending towards Bangor.
There is a cist visible within the cairn, too, though the foliage obfuscates much of the detail.
No name recorded for the cairn, and nothing suitable nearby on the map, so have named it "cairn of the hillside" for a more memorable name.
