This is a delightful brick well house with a wooden door found across the common. The well was used by Tavistock abbey, but no properties are noted for it.

Hatherleigh St. John's Well submitted by AngieLake : The field was boggy here and I didn't have boots, so will try another day. We also ran out of time at 5.30pm today. (22nd April). Really gorgeous views of northern Dartmoor, so worth the effort! (Vote or comment on this photo)
