Standing Stone in Dumfries and Galloway
A standing stone which at first sight appears to be last century (drilling and flaking has sheared off every side except for one, which is damaged at the edges). However, its location is significant - in sight of the Standing Stone of Bagbie, and near the edge of a field and stone wall - but not part of the wall, which you might expect had it been used as a gate post, for example. It is easy to reach, 120m from the road.
