Standing Stone (Menhir) in Gwynedd
This standing stone is on private land, it is in the grounds of Tir-Bach house; there are dogs. I asked for permission and it was readily given. The stone has one flat side and it is heavily graffitied.

On my visit the landowner said three boffins from CADW came a few days ago, they said they found some ancient rock art on it, (see pic) and the stone was in upside down and had been for millennia, how they knew this I don't know, surely the ancients knew which way was up.

Tir-Bach submitted by Postman : This is supposedly prehistoric rock art, the carver carved two rings round two nobbles? of sticking out quartz. I'm not that convinced but hey theyre Cadw boffins.
