Standing Stone (Menhir) in Gwynedd

Only a few fields away North from the burial chamber is this almost fallen standing stone within sight of the sea and leaning towards Mynydd Carngwch in a way as to suggest it hasn't fallen at all but is right where it should be.

The summer solstice sunrise would be seen from here rising directly above Snowdon about 26km away. Need a good clear day to see it.

There's another standing stone in the trading estate [next to the Minibus car park] at SH400390, this is the stone marked on the OS maps, the one in the photo's on here is not the one marked on the map but a different one [at the OS number given on here].
