Hillfort in Ceredigion

"Caer Pwntan is an oval, bivallate enclosure, extensively mutiliated and obscurred by quarrying and agriculture. It is depicted on OS County series (Cardigan. XXXI.13 1889). The enclosure, apparently stone-walled, was about 180m east-west by 155m overall, the inner circuit being in the region of 80-100m across: the form of the enclosure, with its widely spaced rampart circuits, resembles that at Castell Nadolig (Nprn304136) which occupies a similar position, across the headwaters of a valley to the north-east."
