Hilton Wood Castle is an ancient earthwork in Hilton Wood c. 1 mile NW of Whitstone.

Historic England describes it in List Entry No. 10004663 as a Slight Univallate Hillfort dating from between the Late Bronze Age & Early Iron Age. It survives as a wooded oval enclosure measuring 95 by 80 metres. It is surrounded by a steep rampart up to 2.8m high with an entrance gap in the E perimeter.

Directions: Use Postcode EX22 2TW to navigate to Hilton Woods Lodges. The earthwork lies 250 yards N of the holiday park entrance on the R at the edge of Hilton Wood.
