Couplands visited on 20th Oct 2023 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 3 Access: 5 Despite its neighbours, the hedges and trees have begun to give this site a bit more of a natural setting compared to how it must have looked when the houses were first built. Impressed with the artist impression of the site on the information board - would like to see more by this artist!
Ellpezz visited on 13th May 2021 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 2 Access: 5 Now surrounded by houses, this dolman is not in the best of settings, but is still an exciting find. Easily accessible by foot, cycle or car. The cap stone is supported by only 2 if the 4 uprights - amazing!

Although called a tripod dolmen four uprights exist - only two of which support the capstone (which is said to replicate the summit of Carn Ingli to the south). Excavations have revealed cremated bone, Beaker and Grooved ware sherds.
