An impressive standing stone which may have been one of a pair aligned N/S. I was told this in 1992 by someone who said that he knew the man who was asked to blow it up! No magnetics, as far as I could reach.

Notes from my visit Sept 2016:
A bit further along, through Llangwnnadl a standing stone is marked, but it took me several attempts to be able to locate it and once I had, I could not get through the very thick hedge and into its field, despite there supposedly being a footpath. I got many scratches and grazes from the blackthorn and brambles in my attempts, but had to make do with a couple of poor pictures, almost directly into the sun of this fairly tall, slender menhir.
