SeeHafstone7 visited on 16th Mar 2022 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 3 Difficult access - best approached from above the limestone bluff. Follow the rough track from Priory Farm which leads to a disused quarry. The owners of the land are usually friendly, but best to ask permission. As the track approaches the edge of the bluff it turns left, you need to leave the track and head towards the largest of the three trees on the bluff edge pushing through rough grass and brambles. At the edge clamber down and head right. Watch your footing, fight your way over fallen trees and brambles and you'll see the cave forecourt below you. Slither down!

Cave or Rock Shelter in Pembrokeshire (Sir Benfro)

From Coflein: "A cave, or rock-shelter, c.5.4m wide and c.2.4m high, set c.12m above Milford Haven, and narrowing to a tunnel c.30m in length, produced finds, when excavated in 1906-7, of Mesolithic-Paleolithic provenance, a BA hoard and possibly 14th-15th century AD shell middens, besides remains of elephants, reindeer & other local fauna."

Re: Priory Farm Cave by Anonymous on Wednesday, 09 September 2015
i played in this cave often with friends in the 80s. the main cave entrance is large enough. it goes back (south) a few meters then bends to the right, then to the left again, and up a natural step or slope, to a chamber which appeared to have been blocked off. at the bend i mentioned, ther was a way to access another small chamber to teh right, which then provided a view back to the main tunnel though a horizontal slit which was created by 2 separate peices of rock. from this second chamber there was a small tunnel, large enough for small person to crawl only it was slightly uphill and the direction is north west, this tunnel was 5 or 10 meters and leads to another small chamber.
