This single stone row is made up of 4 medium sized stones making up a length 250 metres. Sitting at an altitude of 174 metres the site has a sea view and unusually incorporates a barrow.

Trelow Downs is a scheduled ancient monument. The Pastscape record for monument 430561 tells us: "Slightly to the west and below the broad flat top of Trelow Downs, at about 575 ft, there is a north to south alignment of four stones, extending over 250m. The northern stone is at SW 92906814 with intervals of 92.0m, 52.0m and 64.0m to the southern stone at SW 92906794. The stones incorporate bands of spar and are of 'post' type, 0.1m to 0.2m in diameter, and from 0.4m to 0.6m high. To the south the setting is aligned on a bowl barrow. Another barrow, a bell, is on line between the penultimate and the northern stone, ie it interrupts the visual alignment. There seems no reason to assume a prehistoric or any early origin for the alignment since it may be a post medieval mark out for a newtake which was never completed, but it is an unusual feature."
