Standing Stone (Menhir) in Argyll

The Connel Station Standing Stone is described in Canmore ID 23181, which says: "The stone that formerly stood within the area now occupied by Connel Station was presumably removed shortly before 1880 when the railway was being constructed. It is described as 'a large standing stone' having 'around it marks where others, well remembered, lately stood'. Nothing is known of the size or disposition of these other stones."

The stone is also referenced by The Northern Antiquarian (TNA) who have a page for Connel, Oban, Argyll, which quotes from an 1874 source: "Above Connell Ferry we come to a small brook called Lusragan, and a few houses with a mill called Clachaleven. To the east, in a  field above the road, is a large standing stone, and around it marks where others, well remembered, lately stood."

Note: Does anyone have any historical drawings, more information about this stone, or even know where (or if) it was moved, please?
