Dale Fort
Dale Fort submitted by Horatio : Walked up to the entrance but its now or rather since the war (1946) a field studies centre set in the 19th C artillery defensive fort which itself was built over the original promontory fort. I couldn't really go snooping around. I couldn't see or work out much from the entrance which is set quite far back I guess from the original Bronze/Iron age entrance. Perhaps a phone call is due to hopef... (Vote or comment on this photo)
