Glenlussa Lodge
Glenlussa Lodge submitted by Arjessa : Within the wall to the old manor house at Peninver near Campbeltown stands this solitary standing stone. The stone shows vague carvings that are not that clear or well drawn - someone's later attempt to copy the ancient Pictish carvings? The stone is about 8 ft high, and slender, and not unlike those to the north of here - perhaps it was moved deliberately to place in the wall as some sort of talk... [Thanks. updated Ed.] The Lat/Lon for this stone appears a bit out. I think it is closer to 55.471280, -5.543318 with a grid ref of NR 76146 25428.

A quite respectably sized stone roughly five feet high, incorporated into the wall of Glenlussa Lodge. Right by the roadside as you drive north out of Peninver on the B842, it is easily spotted and accessible.

A little further north, just over the bridge in a field on the right, is another stone although this one has fallen over.
