Hangman's Barrow
Hangman's Barrow submitted by Bladup : Hangman's Barrow. "No there aren't any apples in this bag" (Vote or comment on this photo)
A damaged Bronze Age cairn, 3m (10ft) tall. Recorded in 1851 as being 95ft (28m) in diameter, the removal of many of the stones has revealed an inner wall of large stones which appeared to surround the cairn centre within 3m (10ft) of its outer edge.

Pastscape record: Hangman's Barrow.
