Giant's Rock, Zennor
Giant's Rock, Zennor submitted by hamish : You have to try harder when you are about to give up. Climb the gate follow the hedge round to the right, there is another gate, climb over and continue to the right. You can see the stone from here. You then have to cast health and safety to the winds and clamber over the tumble of rocks. I believe this is or once was a Logan Stone. (1 comment)

Giant's Rock, Zennor submitted by JimChampion : August 2006. View of the Giant's Rock, taken with camera held at arms length above head height. The right of way that leads to the rock from the village of Zennor is an unusual dead-end bridleway. The last 20 metres (or so) is now an impassable mass of brambles and bushes, preventing you from getting anywhere near the rock.

Re: Giant's Rock, Zennor by Anonymous on Monday, 02 March 2020
Managed to reach the rock quite easily apart from negotiating the huge puddles on the track leading to the site. The vegetation surrounding the rock had died back over winter making it relatively easy to get to and onto the rock. 2nd March 2020. The nearby stone row is easily accessible from the rock too.

we visited zennor recently but could not get to Giants as the path had been blocked by a large amount of cow manure.
The locals stated they had never been there.
It is ashame as this is listed on O/s maps

I had the same experience a few years ago.

Ignore it and head the other way up Zennor Hill, there are lots of interesting rocks there (as well as Zennor Quoit.

Got a little bit closer this year - the manure levels were low - but the final part of the right of way leading up to the rock is completely overgrown with prickly bushes and brambles. A sign on the field gate next to the rock makes it clear that you're not permitted in the field. I think they just don't want you to get to the Giant's Rock!
