Boscawen-Ros West
Boscawen-Ros West submitted by maengurta : One of a pair of menhirs at Boscawen ros. This one in a hedge about 7 ft tall. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Standing Stone (Menhir) in Cornwall.
This stone is the partner of the larger menhir at Boscawen ros and is built into the cornish hedge on the western boundary of the field. Although smaller than its neigbour he's still a good 7ft.

It looks as though some of the gorse etc must have been cut back from the top of the hedge recently revealing the stone somewhat from its shroud of vegetation. Probably best viewed in the winter when things die back a bit.
