Boscregan Cairns submitted by Bladup : Carn Creis North. A cairn 8.2 m in diameter was examined by W.C. Borlase. It had an outer and inner ring of stones and within the latter were the probable remains of a stone cist, sherds of two vessels were found in or near it. The inner ring of stones is the most complete with eight still in position. Of the outer ring there appears to be six stones in situ. Only the south side of the cist survi... Boscregan Cairns submitted by Bladup : This photo is trying to show that the kerb of Carn Creis South is itself sat upon it's own mound, The Boulder within the Kerb must have surely held some sort of special significance to the builders of the kerb Cairn that enclosed it, The photo is looking South to Sennen Cove
