Coire Na Feinne

These remains of a chambered cairn, now pretty planted with flowers, are situated in the corner of a garden just beside the main road Tarbert to Leverborugh at the junction with the side road signposted "Horgabost Township".

The large stone slab is about 2mt x 1.8mt. It is a Neolithic structure and in 1859 human bones were found here.

Excellent. I am fairly sure this is the reason I missed this site when I was on Harris last year. Currently planning a visit to North Uist. Hence the discovery.
