White Island
White Island submitted by paulcall : A view of White island from Top Rock Carn on St Martins, showing the hazardous isthmus between the two. Very low tides would be needed to get on and off the island to give enough to time to see the monuments which are mainly at the far end. (Vote or comment on this photo)
An entrance grave, 9 cairns, bank and ditch field system. Accessible on foot from St Martins for just one hour either side of low tide.

Note: Access is hazardous as there are strong currents when the rocks are covered.

White Island
White Island submitted by WindC : The causeway from St Martin's leading to the White Island. This is 1 hour before the low tide of 1.1m. Started off by stepping along boulders, but they can rock, it was easier to just walk on the seaweed. (2 comments - Vote or comment on this photo)

White Island
White Island submitted by WindC : Near the summit of the North end. SV 923176 [aprox]. On the way had to go through some dense ground cover, which included brambles, and many spiders. September, 2011. (1 comment)

White Island
White Island submitted by Thorgrim : Tiny island accessible on foot from St Martins for just one hour either side of low tide. Contains an entrance grave with an incomplete kerb of large boulders. Also nine cairns and a field system. The sea in this picture covers what would have been fields in the Bronze Age. (1 comment)
