Dun in Isle of Tiree

An oval-shaped dun of 17 x 12m dimensions is located on a rocky spur in the South-Western part of Tiree. The wall is mostly reduced to a bank of rubble. Sand, stones and midden material are deposited east of the dun, partly revetted with stones which created a causeway leading to the site. The Iron Age material was reported from this deposit.
