La Madeleine (Carnac) submitted by minteddy

Dolmen to be found in an open field at the top of a little raise, but the field was closed off with an electric fence when I visited, so I didn’t go in to see the dolmen at close quarters.

Blimey, this dolmen is not hidden in dense woodland, like most of those I have been looking for today !

IMPORTANT NOTE: Positional co-ordinates scaled from a detailed map source.

Site in Bretagne: Morbihan (56): Grid ref 03 02’ 54’’ West 47 37’ 16’’ This view shows what I think is the entrance to the dolmen. The view is from the North West side of the domen looking South East The photograph was taken about 15.30 French summer time at the beginning of August 2008.
