Mount Flagon Menhir
Mount Flagon Menhir submitted by enkidu41 : SV 9093 1093 An 8' high menhir standing next to a windmill-shaped daymark. Remarkably, it survived unscathed by the adjacent construction of a Tudor fort, Harry's Walls. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Very prominent standing stone, 8 foot tall overlooking Porth Melon on St Mary, Scilly Isles.

Adjacent is a cross-shaped daymark and the Tudor fort of Harry's Walls

Mount Flagon Menhir
Mount Flagon Menhir submitted by MartinBurke : Local archeologist Katherine Sawyer was dubious about this stone's antiquity. The rusty hole in the stone may indicate that it used to support an earlier version of the signal it stands next to.

Mount Flagon Menhir
Mount Flagon Menhir submitted by Andy Creigh : This stone was first recorded by Borlase in 1756 as sitting on a mound. In recent years it has been secured in position and is thought to be in it's original position, with the recorded mound the remnants of a burial Cairn. Note: Image © Andy Creigh
