Lund Stone
Lund Stone submitted by Hamarberg : Lund Stone on Unst, Shetland. I loathe photos of myself but took a "selfie" to show the size and scale. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Standing stone in Shetland. A massive and irregularly-shaped 12' high stone with a girth of 19'6" at its base and reaching its maximum girth and width of, respectively, 22' and 8'2", at 4' above the ground. It is packed at the base but still lists towards the SW.

Using it as a backsight, the standing stone at Burragh some 0.7km to the NNW acts as skyline foresight for a lunar alignment.

Re: Loch of Bordastubble by Anonymous on Monday, 06 July 2020
This is actually the Lund Standing Stone.
The Boardstubble stone is no longer upright and near the Boardstubble loch.
