"Ardèche, Dolmens of Bourbouillet
In the south of the southern Ardèche, along the small winding road between Saint Alban Auriolles Lablachère and you will find a small canyon famous for its three dolmens visible from the road and a 10 minute walk for walkers equipped Good shoes. Note that access is full of flaws, some of which are several meters deep. Caution should rule.
The dolmens were originally covered, maintained and protected by a heap of stones and earth mounds named. In their present state of degradation, the dolmens often present, as here, in the guise of simple tables with the embankment has been eroded over the centuries.
Even though there is still an element of mystery about these megaliths and their builders, it is assumed that these are collective tombs, old a few years 4-5000, which brings us back to the late Neolithic , more commonly known Copper Age
There are more than 500 dolmens identified all over the Ardèche department.
In the canyon, there is still a small place with little water and all life that goes with it."
