It is 2 meters tall, and taller than nearby stones erected for tin mining purposes. This is a view looking south towards Mounts Bay. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Also known as Trink Hill menhir, this stone stands on the west side of the hill in a damp area near a spring. It is 2 metres tall, and taller than nearby stones erected for tin mining purposes.

There is some doubt about whether this menhir is a true bronze age standing stone, not helped by the fact that there is a one inch diameter hole drilled into the western face, but perhaps the local mineworkers used the already erected stone for their own purposes.

Giew Mine submitted by rexh : trink hill standing stone - neolithic/bronze age origin? - this stone sits on the west side of trink hill but has a direct line of site with trencrom hill fort (here) and st micheal's mount.

Giew Mine submitted by rexh : trink hill standing stone - neolithic/bronze age origin? - marked on recent OS maps. a moorstone, standing 1.98m high and between 60cm and 81cm wide tapering upwards on the wider side. it is set on a line due west of the bronze age ring barrow at trig point SW 5048 3715.
