bloggersgrech visited on 10th Jan 2019 - their rating: Cond: 4 Amb: 4 Access: 4 The chambers are in a row, on a narrow strip of land between houses and a fenced off field (which contains inquisitive goats). As for its condition, I'm not sufficiently qualified to say whether it's a 3 or a 4. Looks pretty good to me though. Photography is a little difficult due to the proximity of the houses, a fence, overhead lines, and an ill-placed sign, right in front of one chamber.

A line of Neolithic sub-megalithic rock cut tombs located in scrub area to the rear of terraced houses in Goodwick (1.5km north west of Fishguard in Pembrokeshire). Overlooking Fishguard Bay and Dinas Head (before the houses were built) they were perhaps once covered by round mounds.

Views to the rear are blocked by the outcrop known as Garn Wen (beware of deep fissures in the outcrop). A fourth chamber may be present a few metres to the north but as many of nine are reported early in the 20th century. Access is freely available.

Garn Wen 1 submitted by rogerkread : The three cromlechs looking North to South. Not visited for 5 years - found the site now compressed between the houses and a new barbed wire fence, less attractive in consequence. I was told someone has recently bought the land to keep goats. Access still possible from either end but not the lane behind the site.

Garn Wen 1 submitted by enkidu41 : SM 948 390 3 sub-megalithic chamber tombs built only a matter of yards apart form the Garn Wen group now fast disappearing under the encroaching bracken. Each tomb consists of a capstone supported on low uprights. This is Garn Wen 1, the northern-most tomb.
