An amazing set of eight stones, which are mostly medieval propitiatory crosses or their remains, situated in the nice and quiet place of Smetana Park. What is sure is that the stones and crosses were moved to this location from an unknown place of origin.
But records as to when this happened are missing. Some say it was sometime before WW2, while another source says that these crosses were transferred here from their orignal locations to additionally become a burial place of French soldiers who fell here in 1742.
