It's in a lovely, lovely, setting, in the Kilmartin Glen. Having got used to Northumberland where you largely only see sheep or cattle around monuments, I was so disappointed by the number of people visiting here. We had two attempts, one being late in the evening, but there were still plenty of folks here. The photographers amongst us 'queued up' to take photographs along the alignment; when it was my turn, a family meandered over and spent half an hour wandering up and down the row, oblivious to me standing there with the camera. I did manage a couple of photographs along the alignment, but had to chose my moments when they were behind one of the stones! Congratulations to the Kilmartin Museum for having a great tourist trail, but I'd like to come back in late January/February, when hopefully there would be less visitors. After this visit, we stuck to sites largely off the main tourist trail.

Nether Largie stone setting is reached by footpath from Temple Wood (about 5mins) or from the main road by footpath. It is in the middle of what may have been an avenue and has cupmarks.
See the nearby site list for details of the cairns.
Dougie Scott has researched the archaeoastronomy of this site, see more below and full details in his ebook Watchers of the Dawn.
Double Stone Row in Argyll. The Nether Largie stones are situated some 300m to the southeast of the Temple Wood circles. They are in a rectangular or X shape setting which is formed by two pairs of standing stones placed about 35m to the northeast and the southwest of a central stone. Just to the south of the centre stone is a setting of four stones.
The site is reached by footpath from Temple Wood (about 5mins) or from the main road by footpath. It is in the middle of what may have been an avenue and has cupmarks.
In 1973 the stump of a standing stone was found by Gerald Hawkins 260m southwest of the southern circle. After its excavation by Dr Aubrey Burl, and its survey from the cist near the centre of the circle by Jon Patrick, it was then laid flat and reburied. All these stones are aligned to the northwest and southeast. More in Douglas Scott's Watchers of the Dawn ebook.
This site is recorded as Canmore ID 39471, which gives descriptions of each of the stones plus the results of a 1993 geophysical survey and a 2013 excavation.
Note: Dougie Scott reports that one of the five Nether Largie stones has fallen.
