Stone Avenue in Wiltshire. The West Kennet Avenue runs for an incredible 2.5km. Some burials have been found at the bottom of some of the stones. Aubrey Burl suggests that avenues such as this were built in stretches, over the years, by different generations of the population.

It is one of the first pair of stones standing in the Kennet Avenue as you go towards the Sanctuary from the southern entrance of Avebury henge. These stones were re-erected by Alexander Keiller.
