Domus de Janas Della Rocca
Domus de Janas Della Rocca submitted by SolarMegalith : Openings on the right belong to medieval rock-cut settlement, the single opening on the left belongs to domus de janas (photo taken on August 2011). (Vote or comment on this photo)
In the centre of the town of Sedini there are some rock cut tombs in a limestone cliff. The site incorporates a local museum with information on the area's prehistoric through to modern history, the displays are in some of the larger rock cut areas of the site.

The usual smaller, square apertured rock cut tombs are now part of the museum which has entry by donation. There is an information centre in a building by the entrance. The tombs have been dated to around 3000 BC. Part of the rock-cut internal spaces has ben cut in medieval times and has been used as a settlement.
