A case for the German administrators of the site:
The "Fehrenbruch Steinkistengrab" is a cist and not a chambered tomb. The relevant literature from the offical responsible archologist Dr. Tempel describes the large stone grave as a cist.
You can check this information here:

Thanks for your comment. Indeed, as the name of the site already tells "Fehrenbruch Steinkistengrab" (or Steinkiste Farven) the site is referred to as a stone cist exactly as you point out. I am not sure why the more general category "chambered tomb" has been choosen. It has been altered now. Nevertheless the term "cist/kist/kiste" also is a difficult one though. It refers to quite different types of monuments especially when looking internationally.

'Fehrenbruch Steinkiste' and 'Steinkiste Farven' are completely different stone cists. The Steinkiste Farven was completely excavated in the nearby village Farven and rebuilt in front of the Bachmann Museum in Bremervörde. The Fehrenbruch Steinkiste is still located in the near of the small village Fehrenbruch. It is the smaller of the two stone cists and had to be laborious reconstructed. Sometimes this stone cist is also attributed to the village of Farven; but both archologists and the residents of both villages separate the terms quite strongly.

Indeed they are. Hence we have a page for the 'Farven Steinkiste' moved from Farven to Bremervörde as well. Though as a matter of fact this site nowadays mostly referred to as "Fehrenbruch Steinkiste" is referred to as "Steinkiste Farven" as well in literature as it is situated right between Farven and Fehrenbruch. Especially as Fehrenbruch belonged to Farven between 1929 and 1949.

Agree with you. It is a very German peculiarity to assign the finds to the nearest villages and towns or to name them after them.

At least in this respect "the" Germans not need to be worried about being peculiar. Using the name of the nearest village/municipality/parish, nearest farm, name of plot or some proximate geographic feature etc. when referring to prehistoric sites/finds actually is quite common all over the world.
