The two stones stand on each side of a narrow country road leading from the farm further up from the ocean.
They are both easily visible from a distance as there are mostly grain fields and grasslands around. The area has a beautiful view to the south across the fjord and the mountains surrounding Romsdal valley and the islands around.
The smaller stone is about 1,5 metres tall, about 20-30cm wide and has a rounded cross section with a flat top.
The taller stone is about 2,5 metres in height, long and slender in shape and with a pointed top. Both of the stones tilt a little towards each other. They are both made of a very light colored stone material and appear almost white.
