South of Schadewohl, west of Kerstenberg, near a hill called
'Spitzen Berg' are the remains of three megalithic tombs.
Tomb No. 3 is located 250m SSE of the easily spotted hilltop,
between two fields. Same as tomb No. 2, you can only reach
it if you can walk over the fields.
Schadewohl 3 (or Tomb 39 according to the official book
'Großsteingräber in der Altmark') was an Extended Dolmen
with three pairs of uprights on the long sides, and a single
stone on the short. Two apprx. 2.5m wide capstones are still there,
but fallen and shifted out of place.
There are no remains of an enclosure.
