Ancient Village or Settlement in Ashdown Forest

From Pastscape:

"A number of earthworks which may represent the remains of an Iron Age field system and a possible hut site."

http://www.pastscape.org.uk/hob.aspx?hob_id=406792

Kings Standing clump is an earthwork planted with trees and is the site of a wooden tower used by Royalty when hunting. Also Iron Age and Romano-British remains were found when the site was excavated.
