Destroyed neolithic tomb near Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt
Near the centre of a heavily eroded round barrow two orthostats one of which is in situ and a fallen capstone of a megalithic chamber are visible. Original shape unknown.
According to the archaelogical inventory by Priebe in 1938 the chamber was already destroyed, but he recorded [2] “some” remaining stones of a megalithic tomb. Usually “some” means more than 3. So most probably stones were robbed after 1938.
