Wietzetze Steingrab 2
Wietzetze Steingrab 2 submitted by holger_rix : Wietzetze 2 is located right in the middle of a big forest, very close to a railway. It looked like somebody had taken care to clean the barrow not too long time ago. So you could walk arround and see those complete lines of kerbstones on both sides. The long mound is still high, the chamber deep in the ground. (Vote or comment on this photo)
Impressive chambered long-barrow near Dannenberg, Lower-Saxony

Impressive neolithic long-barrow measuring 45m x 7m (South)-5m(North) containing a large chamber near the southern end.
Chamber measuring 9m x 2,8 , still embedded into the barrow.
Three capstones and the tops of some orthostats are visible.
Most barrow kerbstones are preserved.
