"The Mountain of the Sun" - Nexis (Gelendzhik)
Near the town of Gelendzhik is the mountain of Nexis. This means "relationship", "connecting worlds". The height of the mountains of Nexis 398 meters. Nearby, adjoins another peak complex, 386 metres. On this mountain have been preserved two unique dolmen - "Sun" and "Moon".
At the South-eastern outskirts of Seville one year are developed departmental career on extraction of Marl, and Neksise processing enterprise operates.
In the immediate vicinity of the pits, on the left bank of the Aderba River Valley, is p. Light, over all suffering from this neighborhood. Collective complaints from residents of light gave rise to a detailed study of the Parliamentary Commission of mining and its impact on the environment.
A Parliamentary Commission finds that quarry endangers physical monument of archaeology-dol′mennomu complex, which dates from the bronze age, but production continues. According to kar′erupravleniâ, they go down, and that in this way you can avoid the destruction of monuments.
In addition to the dolmens and directly surrounding the plot of the relic mountain steppes with review panorama of the coast, in the composition of the natural and historic landscape Nexis-Dolmen and other archeological monuments and nature which are an integral part of the environment-Park Resort.
Before the revolution, "the mountain of the gods" (Nexis) was considered sacred.
She was on the fence and there were 40 (!) of dolmens.
But in 1918 year fence was torn down, dolmens destroyed (apparently not only there). After quarrying left only two - "Sun" and Moon".
Next to dolmens have labyrinth (about 10 m in diameter), of unknown origin.
From different angles at different distance, Nexis is very reminiscent of the pyramid complex of three pyramids (analogues around the world). There is also a version of the artificial "mountain of the gods", and likely use of complex ritual, or astronomical purposes, and the presence of dolmens on the mountain can only confirm this hypothesis.
With this object involves a lot of unusual phenomena (author's note)!
In one version of the career development is an attempt to find something inside Neksisa ...
The presence of dolmens and contours on the whole complex (nowhere in the neighborhood there is nothing like) probably are the result of tectonic faults, a fundamental factor in choosing the place of erection of megalithic structures in mostly all types.
In addition to the Neksise grow rare types of vegetation and beautiful mountain views.
