Remains of a double stone row to the south of Higher White Tor on Dartmoor

Update October 2019: This double stone row is recorded as Higher White Tor on the Stone Rows of Great Britain website. The SRoGB entry includes a description, a plan of the row, photographs of the alignment, access information and a list of online resources for more information.

The row is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 442525 and as MDV5834 (Stone row 180 metres south of Higher White Tor) on the Devon and Dartmoor HER. The row is also scheduled as Historic England List Entry No. 1020239 (Stone alignment 260m south of Higher White Tor).

The row is also featured on the Prehistoric Dartmoor Walks (PDW) website - see their entry for the Higher White Tor Stone Row, which adds: "(this is) A Late Neolithic stone alignment on Higher White Tor, surviving as two parallel rows of stones aligned roughly north-south. The alignment is 95.4 metres long and contains twelve upright stones and 24 recumbent ones".

The SRoGB also includes a section for 'Landscape Reveals' which includes photographs illustrating the landscape features which come into (and out of) view as you progress along the row.
