I was going to call this a competition but it's more like a reward scheme as there's something for everyone who takes the trouble to contribute. As you contribute information to the Portal, keep a tally of what you have sent us. In return we will give you free books or vouchers for our online shop. Add up your contributions as follows:

New Site Page: 1 point
Photo of an ancient site: 1 point
New description of a site: 1 point
Feature article or book review: 12 points

When you get to 15 points you can claim either a free book from our free book list or a £5 voucher to spend in our online shop. The book list will be updated regularly so keep checking it for interesting titles.

Or keep adding up your points until you get to 30 points, at when you can claim a £10 voucher (or 2 free books)

No more rewards accrue after you get to 30 points otherwise you keen people will bankrupt us!
