Museums and Galleries Month: 'People……. who are we?'
Every weekend throughout May
A must for all lovers of a great story. Different story tellers will be joining us each weekend to perform stories inspired by the caves and gorge. Some stories will be old favourites, some shiny and new, but all with one thing in common, told by people, for people. How better to explore 'who we are'.
If you get inspired by all this storytelling, we will be making space on our web site to display some of the best ones sent in over the course of the month.
National Archaeology Week
July 14th - 15th
For one weekend the Crags meadow becomes a time machine, taking us through different stages of prehistory, from the Stone Age to the Iron Age. Tool technology, food and fashion are just a few of the skills that you can experience. There will be plenty of opportunity to get involved and develop your Prehistoric talents.
Summer Holiday Events

Drop-in activities running throughout the school holidays. Free for everyone to come and have a go.
The Summer Festival
