SandyG visited on 13th Apr 2018 - their rating: Cond: 3 Amb: 4 Access: 2 Plenty of car parking is available at Brendon Two Gates at SS 76510 43254. From here head east across the moorland. The ground is uneven.

It is hard to say just what the heck is here, but I found about 13 stones standing, or side set stumps standing proud of the ground. There are also one or two fallen stones. There are probably 10 stones still standing properly, each about two feet tall. It is possibly two roughly parallel rows of stones, with a sort of cross row near the southern end, but this is not obvious.
There are possibly originally many more stones up here than I found today, now hidden in amongst the marshy undergrowth. One of the larger, but fallen stones, has some markings carved into it, possibly TT.
Update November 2019: The Lanacombe 1 double stone row is featured on the Stone Rows of Great Britain website. Their entry includes a description, a simplified plan of the row with its associated cairns, photographs of the alignment and the individual stones, access information and a list of online resources for more information.
The row is also recorded as Pastscape Monument No. 867254 and as MSO6948 - Lanacombe I (Large stone setting at Lanacombe) on the Exmoor National Park HER. The row is also scheduled as Historic England List Entry No. 1014273 (Lanacombe 1: a stone setting and two cairns on the east side of Lanacombe).
The SRoGB also gives a link to The Miniliths of Exmoor Project: Report on the 2009 excavations.
