There are more than 40 petroglyphs to be found at Wedding Rock, although not all are easily located. They are found on the large and small boulders forming a semi-circle around the base of the cliffs. Made by the inhabitants of Ozette Village at Cape Alava, one mile north of Wedding Rock. Most have been determined to be 300 to 500 years old, although some are of more recent origins, such as the petroglyph of a sailing ship from around 1800. They cover a wide variety of subjects.

They are most easily reached at low tide by the Cape Alva trail or Sand Point trail. Interpretive guides are available at the Ozette Ranger Station. By either trail the hike to Wedding Rocks is about 4.5 miles one way, or the cost end of both trails may be connected by hiking the 3 miles of coast, passing Wedding Rocks on the way.
